Swamps And Scales And Green Gator Tales
...Thats what brain goo is made of, well at least in this particular case anyway. Whoo boy its been a while since I've posted anything on the ole blog, not that I haven't meant to, things have just been, well, hectic, i guess thats a good word as any for it. As a result, I haven't done nearly as much drawing as I'd like to lately, hopefully with any luck that'll be subject to change soon enough.
Anyway, for quite some time now I've been muddling over the thought of actually trying to do something productive and peice together some semblance of a picture book or something. So far it hasn't progressed nearly as much as I'd like it to, but what the heck, even a snail's crawl of progress is better than no progress at all I guess. In an effort to get back into the swing of things working on it, I thought I'd post some of these gator sketches that were done a while back while trying to hash out some characters for it.
Reptiles can be such fun critters. I'm just glad that being up here in the northeast, I don't have to worry much about the National Association For The Prevention Of Aligator Racism knocking on my door for such steryotyping, I have to worry enough about the lobsters.
Mr. Gator, full of scare
Be thankful that you have no hair
Your skin is thick and colored green
And with your teeth you seem so mean
To eat me up you wouldn't gag...
'Least I won't become a handbag!
